•Diablo
is a compact alternative to Demon and the
preferred choice where deck space or access
to subsea structures is restricted. Drill
support operations could be an example of
this. The principal differences between
these two full specification work class
ROVs is the smaller size of Diablo and the
provision of two vertical thrusters on this
vehicle rather that the three fitted to
Demon. Otherwise Diablo is built from the
same components used for Demon providing
the convenience of common spares holding
for a mixed fleet of Diablo and Demon ROVs.
The maximum depth rating of Diablo is 2000
metres.
•Powered
by a 100 shaft hp Curvetech Propulsion
System, this ROV can be operated 'free
swimming' to greater depths than had previously
been thought possible. Live boat operations
to the full 2000 metre depth rating is
routine for this immensely powerful system.
Alternatively Diablo can be deployed from
a Hydrovision long excursion tether management
system, (TMS). These are available in
either a 'Top Hat' or 'Garage' configurations.
•The
electronics, PC control system and diagnostics
are a reassuring evolution of familiar
technology for your pilots and technicians.
This makes training easy and greatly contributes
to the excellent reliability and minimal
down time experienced by all Diablo owners
and operators. Built and supported by
engineers who have worked in your business,
Diablo is a powerful, rugged system and
laid out with maintenance and easy access
to components as the highest priority.
We try
to provide the most up to date, recent
specifications on these ROV systems. However,
ROV system specifications are changing
all the time, so please double check with
the manufacturer to insure the specifications
are correct before making a decision in
using or purchasing these systems. |
