Model 3000

-Equipped with wide-vision forward scan sonar, this rugged vehicle records data, images and provides real-time feedback to the operator. The forward scan sonar has the following flexible capabilities to meet specific project needs: set to 360 degree continuous rotation, or set to sector which is 180 degrees, or set the sector size in 3 degree increments. The Nova+ skids provide for extra payload. Applications include detection and/or obstacle avoidance (obstructions and other hazardous devices), and area surveillance. Use this model for baseline and repetitive imaging of specific locations and structures or for environmental monitoring. The 3000 model includes dual application features. Easy removal of the forward scan sonar system and external camera converts the ROV for basic inspections and surveys using the internal camera system.

Key features include:

-Forward scan sonar
-2 configurations for multiple tasks
-Removable nose extension with viewing dome replacement
-Nova+ skids for extra payload
-Proprietary Command and Control software with interval upgrades
-Fully digital onboard electronics
-Two, 1/4 hp thrusters
-Dual operation mode (tow it in up to 9 knot currents or use thruster power)
-External and Internal camera system
-Integrated surface control console: (3-axis joystick; laptop; LCD video monitor; water tight case with wheels and telescoping handle)
-Tools & Parts Standard Kit (TAPS)
-Transport/operation cases with wheels and telescoping handles
-3-auto pilot modes for multi tasking
-Dual quartz lighting system
-300-ft. umbilical
-Patented channel and rail system for user add-on technology

-Nova Ray is a tethered, rapidly deployable, stand-alone, and multi-function remotely operated vehicle (ROV) submarine survey platform. It is ideal for efficient large-area sweeps, reconnaissance missions, and fast hull inspections; capable of operating in adverse, high current situations that most production ROVs can not.
-Nova Ray is modular and easily re-configurable to accommodate a variety of survey instrumentation suites to support mission specific tasks.
-Nova Ray is operated by a single pilot and assisted by onboard software controls. The Nova Ray can operate effectively in adverse weather and current conditions while under tow, or under its own power.

PORTABLE. Travels in legal luggage size containers.
MODULAR. Adaptable with a variety of instrument packages for mission specific objectives.

FIELD-FRIENDLY. Repairs both internal and external easily replaced with a wrench and a screwdriver. Technician can field strip the vehicle in minutes eliminating costly extensive downtime.

We try to provide the most up to date, recent specifications on these ROV systems. However, ROV system specifications are changing all the time, so please double check with the manufacturer to insure the specifications are correct before making a decision in using or purchasing these systems.
