Australian Win for Subsea
7
Subsea 7 announced today that their Australian
entity, Subsea 7 (Australia) Pty. Ltd., has been
awarded a contract by Anzon Australia Limited
for the Basker-Manta field development located
offshore Victoria in the Bass Strait, in 150m
water depth.
The contract, worth around US$13 million, includes
the installation of the subsea equipment and moorings
associated with the Extended Production Test (EPT)
Development. The development consists of a Floating,
Production, Storage & Offloading (FPSO) Unit
flexible flowline and control umbilical system
and shuttle tanker mooring.
The project team will be performing installation
engineering, construction supervision and overall
project management. The offshore programme is
due to take place in August/September 2005 utilising
a construction class vessel.

time and look forward to undertaking this project
in the Bass Strait”.
